Capture Memories Instantly: Fujifilm Instax Pal Digital Camera Arrives in India, Featuring 1/5-Inch CMOS Sensor

Affordable Instant Memories: Fujifilm Instax Pal Digital Camera Available Starting at Rs. 10,999 on Fujifilm’s Website

Fujifilm introduced the Instax Pal digital camera to the Indian market on Wednesday (February 7), following its successful debut in the US last year. Designed with children and teenagers in mind, this pocket-sized camera boasts a 1/5-inch CMOS sensor with a primary colour filter, delivering crisp images with a resolution of 2560×1920 pixels. Sporting a sleek, round design and available in an array of pastel hues, the Instax Pal adds a touch of charm to every shot and is available in five vibrant colour options.

Priced competitively at Rs. 10,999, the Fujifilm Instax Pal digital camera is accessible to a wide audience. It comes in Gem Black, Lavender Blue, Milky White, Pistachio Green, and Powder Pink variants, offering users ample choices to suit their personal style. Interested buyers can conveniently purchase the camera directly from Fujifilm’s website.

Additionally, optional accessories such as a detachable ring strap, serving as both a viewfinder and camera stand, and a Link Mode switch for seamless photo printing using Instax’s Link series printers, are available for separate purchase.

In terms of specifications, the Instax Pal is a standout in Fujifilm’s lineup. It forgoes a traditional viewfinder and inbuilt photo printer, presenting users with a compact, pocket-friendly camera solution. Alongside its CMOS sensor and primary colour filter, the device boasts a flash, a microSD card slot for convenient storage expansion, a power button, a photo mode button, and a USB-C Type charging port, ensuring versatility and ease of use in every photography session.

The camera has an aperture of f/2.2 and a shooting sensitivity from ISO100 to ISO1600. The shutter speed varies between 1/4 second to 1/8000 second, and switches automatically.

There are two modes in the camera. The Standard Mode, activated by pressing the shutter button on the rear panel utilises a wide-angle lens to click photos independently. In this mode, the digital camera can hold a maximum of 50 photos without a microSD card. Then there is a Remote Mode, where the Instax Pal connects with a smartphone via Bluetooth and can remotely click pictures using the Instax Pal app which are directly sent to the phone.

The companion app comes with its own set of features. It allows users to create custom shutter sounds, add filters, text, and stickers to the photos, and more. The device takes 2-3 hours to fully charge.
