Comprehensive Leak Reveals Full Specifications of Oppo Find X7 and Find X7 Ultra, Suggesting Impending Release

The anticipated launch of the Oppo Find X7 series is drawing closer, as details regarding the purported models continue to surface online. Alongside leaked design renders and live images of the handsets, reports initially pointed to the series featuring three distinct models: the Oppo Find X7, a Pro variant, and an Ultra model. However, a recent leak hints at a slight deviation from this initial expectation. The lineup may now consist of the Oppo Find X7, Find X7 Ultra, and an intriguing Find X7 Ultra variant dubbed ‘Satellite Communication,’ leading to speculation that there might not be a Pro model introduced this year.

The vanilla Oppo Find X7 is expected to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC, while the Ultra models of the series will likely come with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipsets, according to the tipster. These phones are said to support LPDDR5X RAM. They are also expected to ship with Android 14-based ColorOS 14.

The leak suggests that the Ultra models of the Oppo Find X7 will get 6.82-inch 2K screens, while the base model will sport a 6.78-inch 1.5K display with BOE 8T OLED LTPO panels, 120Hz refresh rate and 2,160Hz PWM dimming rate.

For optics, the Oppo Find X7 is likely to include a 50-megapixel LYT-808 primary rear sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS), a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 sensor with an ultrawide lens, and a 64-megapixel Omnivision OV64B periscope telephoto shooter with 3x zoom and OIS support.

Conversely, both the Oppo Find X7 Ultra and the specialized Oppo Find X7 Ultra Satellite Communication models are anticipated to feature an impressive camera setup. Reportedly, these models will boast a powerful array of sensors, including a 50-megapixel LYT-900 primary sensor equipped with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). Additionally, they are expected to house a 50-megapixel LYT800 sensor paired with an ultrawide lens, an OIS-supported 50-megapixel IMX890 sensor featuring a telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, and a 50-megapixel IMX858 sensor also supported by OIS, featuring a telephoto lens offering 6x optical zoom capabilities.

The upcoming smartphones from the Chinese manufacturer are anticipated to come equipped with UFS 4.0 onboard storage, ensuring faster data transfer speeds and enhanced performance. All models within the lineup are reported to sport a robust 5,000mAh battery, accompanied by impressive 100W wired fast charging capabilities, promising swift and efficient charging experiences. According to recent leaks, the two Ultra models are expected to share similarities, barring the connectivity support for Satellite Communication in one variant. However, pertinent details regarding the potential pricing of these speculated handsets have not been disclosed within the leak.
