The rollout of this update is said to be underway, gradually reaching users through the Google Play Beta program, with the 2.23.26.3 beta version tailored specifically for Android users.
Currently, WhatsApp allows users to upload compressed photos and videos to their Status, a limitation that has been acknowledged as a notable drawback compared to competing platforms like iMessage and Telegram. This will let users listen to video and music audio together when someone shares their screen in video calls. Further, it is said to be working on an optional feature that could let users share WhatsApp statuses directly to Instagram.
