As of now, concrete details regarding the official launch date of the Moto G 5G (2024) remain elusive. However, unveiling a sneak peek, recent leaks have unveiled design renders of the purported device, accompanied by a 360-degree video, providing enthusiasts a glimpse into its anticipated aesthetics. Furthermore, a leaked report has offered insights into several key specifications expected to grace this upcoming handset.

A MySmartPrice report citing tipster Steve H.McFly (@OnLeaks) shared images and a 360-degree video that claim to show the design of the rumoured Moto G 5G (2024). The phone is seen with a similar design as its preceding model. It appears to have flat sides and slightly curved edges. The handset also seems to feature a flat display with slim bezels and a relatively thicker chin.

As per the report, the Moto G 5G (2024) will sport a 6.5-inch screen, similar to the Moto G 5G (2023). The phone is also said to share other display specifications with the older model. The 2023 model comes with a 6.5-inch HD+ (720 x 1,600 pixels) LCD panel with a refresh rate of 120Hz, an aspect ratio of 20:9, and a pixel density of 269ppi.

Positioned for an anticipated launch in the upcoming year, this purported handset exhibits a departure from its predecessor, sporting more softly rounded corners. Within these leaked images and accompanying video, the rear camera module captures attention, residing at the top left corner and comprising two distinct vertically aligned circular camera units, flanked by an elongated LED flash unit. On the front, the phone embraces a centred hole-punch cutout to house the front-facing camera sensor, as depicted in the visuals.

Adding to the insights, the leaked report divulges specific dimensions for the Moto G 5G (2024), measuring at 164.4mm x 74.9mm x 8.2mm, a slight variance from its predecessor’s dimensions of 163.94mm x 74.98mm x 8.39mm. Additionally, the leaked images showcase the handset’s right edge hosting the volume rocker and power button, while the left edge accommodates the SIM tray. At the top, a single microphone is visible, while the bottom edge boasts an array of features including a 3.5mm audio jack, microphone, USB Type-C port, and a speaker grille, presenting a comprehensive view of the device’s potential layout and design elements.
