Fresh Hues for Pixel Enthusiasts: Google Introduces Mint Color Option for Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro, Exclusive to 128GB Variant

India Exclusive: Mint Color Variant Limited to Pixel 8 in the Google Pixel 8 Series Lineup

Introducing a vibrant twist to its Pixel 8 series, Google has officially launched the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro in a fresh Mint color variant. This marks the fourth color option for both smartphones, complementing the existing range introduced in October 2023, which included hues like Hazel, Obsidian, Rose for the Pixel 8, and Bay, Obsidian, Porcelain for the Pixel 8 Pro. Notably, the pricing for the new Mint color variant remains consistent with the other available color options.

The anticipation for the Mint color was heightened last week when Google shared a binary code and a video showcasing a mint green color splash on the Pixel 8 Pro across its social media platforms. The decoded message hinted at a “fresh year, fresh drop,” alluding to the impending release of the new color variant. Interestingly, the Mint option is exclusively offered in the 128GB inbuilt storage variant for both the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro, with the higher storage configurations available solely in the original color choices.

For Indian consumers, the Mint color variant is specifically limited to the standard Pixel 8 model, which can be conveniently purchased through Flipkart. In the United States, the Mint color option is exclusively accessible via the Google Store and Google Fi. To enhance the Mint experience, Google is also offering Mint silicone cases for both the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro, allowing existing users to refresh their devices with this vibrant new colorway.

Pixel 8 price in India starts at Rs. 75,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB inbuilt storage model and the Pixel 8 Pro starts at Rs. 1,06,999 with the 12GB RAM and 128GB inbuilt storage model.
