Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut Arrives on PC, Set to Debut May 16

Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut, the acclaimed open-world action-adventure game from Sucker Punch Productions, is set to make its debut on PC, marking another significant release in Sony’s strategy to bring its exclusive titles to the platform. Scheduled for release on May 16, the PC version of Ghost of Tsushima promises to deliver the full experience of the Director’s Cut, complete with all the content from the original game along with the Iki Island expansion and the multiplayer Legends mode. The responsibility for bringing this beloved title to PC falls upon the capable shoulders of Nixxes Software, a veteran studio known for its work on PC ports of other Sony titles such as Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered and Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart.
In an announcement on the PlayStation Blog, Nixxes Software revealed that they have been diligently working on the PC port of Ghost of Tsushima for the past year. This dedicated effort aims to ensure that PC players can enjoy the game with a range of platform-specific features and enhancements. Among these features are unlocked frame rates, comprehensive graphical settings and presets, and customizable controls tailored for mouse and keyboard input. Notably, Nixxes has also confirmed support for ultrawide monitors, with optimizations made for aspect ratios of 21:9 and 32:9, as well as an impressive 48:9 resolution for players with triple monitor setups.
The arrival of Ghost of Tsushima on PC represents a significant milestone for both Sucker Punch Productions and the gaming community at large. As one of the most acclaimed titles of the PlayStation era, its debut on PC opens up new opportunities for players to experience its captivating world and immersive gameplay.
