Honor introduced its latest audio offering, the Honor Choice Earbuds X5, during an event streamed live on YouTube. Released alongside the Honor X9b smartphone and the Honor Choice Watch, these truly wireless stereo (TWS) earphones boast an in-ear design with active noise cancellation (ANC). Equipped with 10mm drum drivers and boasting an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance, the Earbuds X5 promise a premium audio experience. Honor asserts that users can enjoy up to 35 hours of battery life with the included charging case.
Priced affordably at Rs. 1,999, the Honor Choice Earbuds X5 will be available for purchase starting February 16 at 12pm. Exclusively offered through Amazon, mainline retail stores, and the Explore Honor website, these earbuds will be available in a sleek white color.
In terms of specifications and features, the Honor Choice Earbuds X5 offer up to 30dB of active noise cancellation, including an Ambient Sound Transmission mode for heightened awareness of surroundings. They boast dual microphones with environmental noise cancellation (ENC) for clearer call quality and come with a Low-Latency Game Mode to minimize audio-video lag during gaming sessions.
The Earbuds X5 features 10mm drum drivers with support for SBC and AAC Bluetooth codecs. Honor claims that the earphones offer up to 35 hours of battery life with the included charging case, including up to nine hours of continuous playback and 18 hours of calling. The buds pack a 45mAh battery, while the charging case comes with a 460mAh battery and charges via a USB Type-C port. It takes the earphones up to two hours to charge fully, according to Honor.
