Instagram Stories Expands Sticker Options: Frames, Reveal, and More

Instagram’s New Reveal Sticker: Blur Content Until Viewers DM

Instagram has rolled out a range of new interactive sticker options, offering users more creative ways to express themselves on their Stories. Alongside sharing images, videos, or Reels, Stories remain a popular feature for sharing content on the platform. With these new stickers, users can enhance their storytelling experience further by adding engaging elements. One notable addition is the ability for users to create stickers from existing photos in their albums, adding a personalized touch to their Stories.

Meta, Instagram’s parent company, announced the new interactive stickers in a recent blog post. Among the new features, the Reveal sticker stands out, allowing users to blur the content of their Story. Viewers must DM the poster to view the full story, offering a sense of intrigue and interaction. There’s no need for approval from the poster; once the DM is sent, viewers can see the contents of the Story without restrictions.

Another interesting addition is the Add Yours Music sticker, enabling Instagram followers to add their choice of music to the Story. Similar to Add Yours images or Reel stickers, viewers can click on the sticker to create a Story with the same sticker, incorporating their images and preferred music. This feature enhances engagement and encourages interaction among followers.

These new stickers aim to make Instagram Stories more dynamic and engaging, providing users with more ways to connect with their audience. Whether it’s blurring content to create anticipation or allowing followers to contribute their music, these features add depth to the storytelling experience on the platform.

Instagram has released a bunch of new interactive sticker options for users to use on their Stories. Instagram Stories is a popular way for sharing content on the platform, next to posting an image, video or Reel. Users can upload text, images, or video stories and may even combine elements from all these options. The new stickers are claimed to help users express themselves more creatively. One of the many features includes users being able to make stickers to use on their Instagram stories from existing photos in their albums.

Meta confirmed the new series of interactive stickers for Instagram Stories in a blog post. One of the most innovative additions is the Reveal sticker, which essentially ‘hides’ the content of the Story by blurring it. To view the full story, viewers will have to DM the poster. There is no approval from the poster needed. Once the DM is delivered to the person who posted the Story with the Reveal sticker, the viewer will be able to see all the contents of the Story.

The company is also introducing a new Add Yours Music sticker which Instagram followers of the poster can add their music of choice too. It works similarly to the Add Yours images or Reel sticker. People viewing the story can click on the sticker to post a Story with the same sticker alongside images and music of their choice.
