The highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy F15 5G is on the brink of its India debut, poised to succeed its predecessor, the Galaxy F14 5G, which made its mark in the Indian market back in March 2023. With promising upgrades expected, leaks and rumors have provided enthusiasts with glimpses of what’s to come.
Previous leaks unveiled design renders, while sightings on benchmarking and certification platforms hinted at its prowess. Now, leaked promotional images have shed light on key features, while industry insider Mukul Sharma (@stufflistings) disclosed crucial details.
According to Sharma’s post on X, the Galaxy F15 5G is slated for an exclusive launch on Flipkart in India, sporting an enticing price tag below Rs. 15,000. The leaked images showcase the device in sleek black, vibrant purple, and refreshing sea green hues, offering users a spectrum of choices. Notably, Sharma hinted at an industry-first feature, promising four generations of Android updates, alongside an impressive 6,000mAh battery.
In tandem with these leaks, a report from Smartprix divulged additional insights, including a purported unveiling on February 22 at 12pm IST. The report also suggests that the Galaxy F15 5G could house the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC, coupled with generous configurations of up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. As anticipation builds, eager consumers await the official reveal, eager to experience the Galaxy F15 5G’s innovative offerings firsthand.
The report added that the Samsung Galaxy F15 5G may sport a 6.5-inch 90Hz sAMOLED display, a 13-megapixel selfie camera, a 50-megapixel triple rear camera unit including ultrawide and macro shooters, and a 6,000mAh battery with support for 25W wired charging.
Samsung’s Galaxy F15 5G is also said to offer four years of Android updates and five years of security updates to users, as per the report. It is also expected to be equipped with the “Voice Focus” feature that is usually found in Galaxy A-series models and is claimed to help in reducing background noise during calls.
Previously, the Samsung Galaxy F15 5G had been tipped to share similar specifications as the Samsung Galaxy A15. The phone was also spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) database and the Geekbench website hinting at its imminent India launch. The support page of the handset has also gone live on the Samsung India site.
