The model, which has been making rounds on various certification sites, is now gearing up for its launch in the country. Speculations have surfaced suggesting that the Galaxy F55 could potentially be a rebranded version of the recently unveiled Galaxy A55 5G handset, alongside the Galaxy A35 5G. Consequently, it’s anticipated that the Galaxy F55 might share resemblances in specifications with the Galaxy A55 5G.

The support page for the Samsung Galaxy F55, identified with the model number SM-E556B/DS, has gone live on Samsung India and Bangladesh websites, as reported by SamMobile. This development indicates that the phone could soon hit the markets in both countries. However, official confirmation from the company regarding the launch is still pending. According to reports, the Galaxy F55 might debut as a rebadged iteration of the Galaxy A55 5G.

Expectations regarding the Galaxy F55’s specifications include a 6.6-inch 120Hz full-HD+ Super AMOLED display, powered by a 4nm Exynos 1480 SoC. Moreover, it’s anticipated to feature a robust 5,000mAh battery with 25W charging support, accompanied by a 50-megapixel triple rear camera setup, a 32-megapixel selfie camera, and an IP67 rating for water and dust resistance. Furthermore, the device is speculated to run on Android 14-based One UI 6.1, delivering a seamless user experience.

The older model has an Exynos 1380 SoC, a 6,000mAh battery with 25W wired charging support, a 6.7-inch 120Hz full-HD+ Super AMOLED Plus display, a 108-megapixel triple rear camera system and a 32-megapixel front camera. It runs Android 13-based One UI 5.1 out-of-the-box.
