In the imminent launch of the Samsung Galaxy S24 series, anticipation has reached new heights as regulatory listings continue to unveil key specifications. The flagship Galaxy S24 Ultra and Galaxy S24+ made their presence known on the Geekbench benchmarking platform in October, showcasing the powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. A recent development reveals the US variants of the Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 Ultra, identified by model numbers SM-S926U and SM-S928B, both equipped with the formidable Pineapple chipset.
The octa-core Pineapple chipset, featuring a prime CPU core at 3.30GHz, three cores at 3.15GHz, two at 2.96GHz, and two more at 2.27GHz, aligns with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. Notably, the Geekbench listing discloses the Galaxy S24+ with 8GB of RAM, while its Ultra counterpart boasts a more substantial 12GB RAM configuration.
Performance benchmarks indicate impressive results, with the Galaxy S24 Ultra achieving 2,117 points in single-core testing and 6,720 points in the multi-core test. In contrast, the Galaxy S24+ exhibited scores of 1,902 and 3,439 in the respective tests.
