Samsung’s highly anticipated Galaxy Unpacked event, scheduled for January 17, is anticipated to introduce the Galaxy S24 series. Recent leaks have indicated that Samsung is likely to employ its in-house Exynos 2400 chipsets in the standard Galaxy S24 for most global markets. Adding to the speculation, a tipster recently hinted at chipset specifics and pricing for the Indian market. Notably, last year’s Galaxy S23 lineup was powered by a customized Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Mobile Platform specifically designed for Galaxy devices.

Tipster Tarun Vats, sharing insights on X (formerly Twitter), suggested that Samsung might unveil the Galaxy S24+ in India equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. Conversely, it’s rumored that the India variant of the Galaxy S24 will utilize the Exynos 2400 SoC. However, the Galaxy S24 Ultra is anticipated to house a Snapdragon processor, regardless of the region.

According to Vats, the price of the Galaxy S24+ is speculated to commence at either Rs. 1,04,999 or Rs. 1,05,999 for the base model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S24 Ultra, featuring the same RAM and storage configuration, is purportedly expected to be priced at Rs. 1,34,999 or Rs. 1,35,999. These pricing insights suggest a competitive positioning for Samsung’s upcoming flagship offerings in the Indian market.
