Spotify, the Swedish audio streaming giant, has rolled out an exciting new offer for its premium service in India. As part of this limited-time deal, the platform allows potential new subscribers to experience the benefits of Spotify Premium at a heavily discounted rate. Spotify Premium’s New Promotional Offer

According to details shared by the company, the promotional offer is valid for the Individual plan. First-time subscribers will be able to enjoy three months of Spotify Premium for just Rs. 59, a significant drop from the usual price of Rs. 119 per month.

However, there is an important caveat to note: the offer is available only to those who have never subscribed to Spotify Premium before. This means current or previous Premium users are not eligible to take advantage of this discount. Additionally, the offer is time-sensitive and will only be available until August 25.

Spotify has been aggressively pushing to expand its subscriber base in India, where competition among streaming services is fierce. This promotional deal aims to draw in users who have been hesitant to subscribe, giving them a taste of the premium experience at a fraction of the usual cost.

This development comes a month after Spotify announced a price hike for all its premium plans in the US for the second time in 12 months. The streaming platform revealed that new users will now be able to subscribe to the Individual plan at $11.99 a month, up from $10.99. The Duo plan sees a $2 price hike and is now priced at $16.99, while the Spotify Premium Family plan, which was previously listed for $16.99, will now cost $19.99.
