The standard Redmi Turbo 5 is said to feature the Dimensity 8500 SoC, while the higher-end Redmi Turbo 5 Pro could be powered by the more advanced Dimensity 9500e processor. MediaTek has not officially announced either chip so far.

Battery capacity appears to be another major highlight of the upcoming series. The Redmi Turbo 5 Pro is rumoured to pack a massive 9,000mAh battery along with 100W fast charging support. Meanwhile, the regular Redmi Turbo 5 is expected to house a slightly smaller 8,000mAh battery, though it may still offer the same 100W charging speeds.

The Dimensity 8500 and Dimensity 9500e processors are believed to debut in early 2026, potentially making the Redmi Turbo 5 lineup among the first smartphones to adopt these chips.
