Tecno Spark 20 Pro+ Confirmed for January 2024 Launch; Design and Key Specs Revealed
Tecno announced that the Tecno Spark 20 Pro+ will be launched in January 2024. In a press release, the company confirmed that the phone will be powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 SoC, the same chipset that is packed into the Tecno Spark 20 Pro. It added that the upcoming handset will ship with Android 14-based HiOS skin on top.
The Tecno Spark 20 Pro+ is also confirmed to feature a 120Hz curved AMOLED display with a peak brightness level of 1,000 nits. The smartphone will also sport a 108-megapixel primary sensor at the back and a 32-megapixel sensor for the front camera, which are similar to the cameras on the Tecno Spark 20 Pro.
The launch announcement for the Tecno Spark 20 Pro+ came accompanied by a revealing promotional image showcasing the handset’s design. Displayed in a striking green color variant with a leather finish, the device exhibits a distinct aesthetic. Notably, the back panel showcases a slightly elevated circular camera module positioned at the top left corner, housing multiple camera sensors. Adjacent to the camera setup sits a vertical LED flash unit, touted by the company to feature a unique Quadrant Star Array design.
Moving to the front, Tecno emphasizes the handset’s ergonomics with a double curved design that promises users a comfortable grip. The display portrays minimal bezels, housing a centred hole-punch slot situated atop the screen, designed to accommodate the front-facing camera. These design details unveiled in the promotional image contribute to the anticipation surrounding the Tecno Spark 20 Pro+’s imminent launch.
