Building upon earlier announcements, Tecno recently confirmed its participation at MWC, teasing a diverse array of offerings, including an AR gaming set, a robot dog, and a new addition to its Pova series smartphone. Moreover, Tecno has now unveiled plans to introduce its groundbreaking “AI-enhanced” imaging system, dubbed Tecno PolarAce, marking a significant leap forward in imaging technology.

In a bid to revolutionize mobile photography and videography, Tecno’s PolarAce Imaging System is slated to debut at MWC as the company’s inaugural imaging solution boasting an independent imaging chip. Promising advanced capabilities for videography capture, this AI-enhanced imaging technology is set to make its debut alongside the eagerly anticipated Tecno Camon 30 series. Notably, Tecno will also use the MWC platform to unveil its latest innovation in the laptop arena, the Tecno Megabook T16 Pro 2024 Ultra, signaling the brand’s multifaceted approach to technological innovation and product diversification.

Tecno’s PolarAce Imaging System represents a concerted effort to overcome the limitations inherent in traditional SoCs (System on Chips) and existing imaging solutions. Earlier this month, Tecno announced that it will be attending MWC to unveil a new Pova phone, a robot dog, a flagship laptop, and an AR gaming kit. The company’s first Windows AR gaming handheld called Pocket Go combines AR glasses and a handheld device. Additionally, the Tecno Pova 6 Pro 5G smartphone will make its global debut at the event. The event will also see the company’s futuristic AI and AR technologies, Universal Tone technology, new concepts, and more.

Tecno is anticipated to introduce its first rollable phone called Phantom Ultimate during the event. The brand showcased its Phantom Ultimate prototype with a rollable display in September 2022.
