Upcoming Release Alert: Vivo V30 Pro Spotted on Bluetooth SIG Site, Launch Imminent!
Vivo V30 Pro: Potential Rebranded Variant of the Vivo S18 Pro, Unveiled in China December 2023
The Vivo V30 series expands with the upcoming arrival of the Vivo V30 Pro, following the recent launch of the Vivo V30 alongside its Lite counterpart in December 2023. Now, the anticipation grows as the V30 Pro, spotted on a certification site, suggests its imminent debut. Given the lineage of its predecessors, particularly the Vivo V29 Pro, which was essentially a revamped Vivo S17 Pro, expectations lean towards the V30 Pro being a rebranded variant of the Vivo S18 Pro.
This speculation gains traction with the recent sighting of the V30 Pro (model number V2319) on the Bluetooth SIG website, hinting at its impending release with Bluetooth 5.3 support. As the base Vivo V30 model mirrors the Vivo S18, it’s reasonable to assume that the V30 Pro will follow suit with the Vivo S18 Pro’s design language.
In terms of pricing, the Vivo S18 Pro in China was available in various configurations, including the 12GB + 256GB variant priced at CNY 3,199 (approximately Rs. 37,700), with other options like the 16GB + 256GB and 16GB + 512GB models listed at CNY 3,499 (roughly Rs. 40,900) and CNY 3,699 (around Rs. 43,300), respectively.
Moreover, the device offered color choices such as black, sea green, and a variant featuring floral patterns on the back panel, catering to diverse consumer preferences. With these insights, the excitement mounts for the Vivo V30 Pro’s imminent arrival and its potential to deliver a compelling blend of features and aesthetics to consumers.
The Vivo V30 Pro may launch with similar specifications as the Vivo S18 Pro. The phone may sport a 6.78-inch 120Hz full-HD+ (1,260×2,800 pixels) curved AMOLED display and ship with Android 14-based OriginOS 4. It could be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ SoC and carry a 5,000mAh battery with 80W wired fast charging support.
For optics, the triple rear camera unit of the Vivo V30 Pro may include a 50-megapixel 1/1.55-inch Sony IMX920 primary sensor alongside a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens and a 12-megapixel Sony IMX663 telephoto shooter with 2x optical zoom. The front camera could be equipped with a 50-megapixel sensor.
