Vivo X100 Series to Debut in India on January 4: Anticipated Price and Specifications Revealed
Vivo has officially announced the impending launch of the Vivo X100 series in India, set to debut in the initial week of January. The smartphone giant is hinting at the arrival of its latest X series devices through a dedicated microsite on its Indian website.
Initially unveiled in China during November, the Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro, featuring the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC, made their global debut in select markets later this month. Excitingly, the Indian variants are confirmed to house the same chipset alongside an 8T LTPO display. Notably, the standout feature of the Vivo X100 family lies within their camera prowess, showcasing triple rear camera setups headlined by a 50-megapixel 1-inch-type primary camera.
Vivo India has formally announced that the Vivo X100 series is slated for launch in the country on January 4, as affirmed through a recently issued media invite. Additionally, the company has unveiled a dedicated microsite to tease the upcoming series.
The Indian iterations of the Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro are anticipated to be available in captivating Asteroid Black, Startrail Blue, and Sunset color variants. Key specifications confirmed for these devices include Funtouch OS 14, the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC, Zeiss-branded triple rear camera configurations, an IP68-rated build for enhanced durability, a V3 imaging chip, and vibrant 8T LTPO displays.
Interestingly, the scheduled debut of the Vivo X100 series coincides with Xiaomi’s unveiling of the Redmi Note 13 5G series on the same day in the Indian market, setting the stage for an intriguing showdown in the smartphone arena.
Vivo X100, Vivo X100 Pro price (expected)
In China, pricing for the Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro starts at CNY 4,999 (roughly Rs. 56,500) and CNY 3,999 (roughly Rs. 50,000), respectively. In Hong Kong, the Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro were announced with a price tag of HK$7,998 (roughly Rs. 85,224) and HK$5,998 (roughly Rs. 63,917) respectively. Pricing for the Indian variants is expected to be along similar lines.

The Vivo X100 series features curved 6.78-inch 8 LTPO AMOLED screens with up to 120Hz refresh rate. Both models run on MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC, coupled with Vivo’s V3 chip. They are equipped with Zeiss-branded triple rear camera units and a 32-megapixel selfie shooter.
The regular Vivo X100’s camera setup includes a 50-megapixel primary Sony IMX920 VCS bionic main camera with OIS (optical image stabilisation), a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 64-megapixel Zeiss super-telephoto camera with 100x clear zoom.
Contrasting its counterpart, the Vivo X100 Pro boasts an impressive camera setup, featuring a 50-megapixel Sony IMX989 1-inch type sensor complemented by OIS support. Alongside this, it integrates a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera and a high-performance 50-megapixel Zeiss APO super-telephoto camera, also equipped with OIS functionality.
In terms of battery capacity, the Vivo X100 hosts a robust 5,000mAh battery with support for rapid 120W fast charging. Conversely, the Vivo X100 Pro houses a slightly larger 5,400mAh unit, accompanied by a 100W charging capability, further complemented by 50W wireless charging support for added convenience and flexibility.
