Notably, this new plan is competitively priced compared to offerings from rival services and even the original, now-discontinued premium plan. To entice new subscribers, JioCinema has launched an introductory offer that slashes the annual subscription fee by 50 percent.

The confirmation of the new plan came over the weekend, with the JioCinema website now prominently featuring the Premium Annual plan priced at Rs. 599. Under the current promotional offer, subscribers can avail of this plan for just Rs. 299, significantly lowering the barrier to entry for potential users. Once the initial 12-month billing cycle concludes, users will revert to the standard pricing structure.

According to details provided on the company’s website, the JioCinema Premium Annual plan mirrors the benefits of its monthly counterpart. Subscribers can enjoy uninterrupted, ad-free streaming of a wide range of content, including premium titles from HBO, Paramount, Peacock, and Warner Bros., all in high-definition 4K quality on a single device. Additionally, the plan allows for content downloads, enabling users to enjoy their favorite shows and movies offline at their convenience.
