Vivo Launches V50 Lite 5G Featuring MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC and Massive 6,500mAh Battery: Price and Specifications Revealed

The Vivo V50 Lite 5G has officially been unveiled in select global markets, following the launch of its 4G counterpart earlier this week. While the design and many features of the Vivo V50 Lite 5G resemble those of the 4G version, the key difference lies in its support for 5G connectivity, thanks to the powerful MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset. Along with this, the device comes packed with impressive specs, including a massive 6,500mAh battery and a 50-megapixel dual rear camera setup, catering to users who demand both performance and long-lasting power. As of now, Vivo has not confirmed if the 5G Lite variant will make its way to India, where the Vivo V50 launched earlier this year.

The Vivo V50 Lite 5G is priced at EUR 399 (approximately Rs. 37,200) for the 12GB RAM and 512GB storage variant. It is available for purchase via the official Vivo e-store in Spain. The device comes in a range of stylish color options, including Fantasy Purple, Phantom Black, Silk Green, and Titanium Gold. The availability of these colors may vary depending on the region. Interestingly, the 4G variant of the Vivo V50 Lite, which was launched earlier, is priced at TRY 18,999 (approximately Rs. 45,000) in Turkey for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage version, offered in Titanium Black and Titanium Gold shades.

In terms of features, the Vivo V50 Lite 5G boasts a 6.77-inch full-HD+ pOLED display, delivering a resolution of 1,080×2392 pixels and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz for smooth visuals. The display also offers 1,800 nits of local peak brightness, ensuring visibility even under direct sunlight. For those concerned about eye strain, the phone comes with SGS low blue light certification, making it more comfortable for extended usage. The device runs on Android 15-based FuntouchOS 15, offering a clean and responsive interface.

Under the hood, the Vivo V50 Lite 5G is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC, coupled with 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 512GB of UFS 2.2 storage for seamless multitasking and fast app performance. In contrast, the 4G version of the Vivo V50 Lite features the Snapdragon 685 chipset. With its powerful hardware, the Vivo V50 Lite 5G is designed to offer a solid performance for both everyday tasks and demanding applications, making it an appealing choice for users looking for a budget-friendly 5G smartphone.
