Apple Pledges Additional \$100 Billion Investment in US, Bringing Total to \$600 Billion Over Four Years
Apple’s new \$100 billion investment focuses on expanding its supply chain and advanced manufacturing footprint across the United States.
President Donald Trump announced on Wednesday that Apple will invest an additional \$100 billion (approximately Rs. 8,77,315 crore) in the United States, boosting its total domestic investment commitment to \$600 billion (around Rs. 52,63,952 crore) over the next four years. Earlier this year, Apple had pledged \$500 billion and planned to hire 20,000 workers across the country during this period.
The new investment focuses on expanding Apple’s supply chain and advanced manufacturing footprint within the US. However, despite this significant financial commitment, it still falls short of Trump’s demand for Apple to begin producing iPhones domestically.
