Claire Leibowicz is at the forefront of advancing responsible AI deployment as the head of the AI and media integrity program at the Partnership on AI (PAI), an industry group supported by major tech companies such as Amazon, Meta, Google, and Microsoft. In her role, she oversees PAI’s AI and media integrity steering committee, driving initiatives aimed at ensuring the ethical and accountable use of AI technology.
Leibowicz brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her work. She was a journalism fellow at Tablet Magazine in 2021 and a fellow at The Rockefeller Foundation’s Bellagio Center focused on AI governance in 2022.
With a background in psychology and computer science from Harvard University, along with a master’s degree from Oxford, she possesses a multidisciplinary perspective that is invaluable in navigating complex issues at the intersection of AI, media integrity, and governance.
Throughout her career, Leibowicz has advised companies, governments, and nonprofit organizations on AI governance, generative media, and digital information, demonstrating her commitment to driving positive change in the AI landscape.
