Dyson Unveils The Purifier Big+Quiet For Rooms Up To 1,000 Square Feet
The Dyson Purifier Big+Quiet is equipped with a HEPA-H13 grade particle filter, capable of lasting up to 2 years, effectively addressing both indoor and outdoor pollutants.
Dyson has officially released the Purifier Big+Quiet, designed to purify air in rooms as expansive as 1,000 sq. ft. According to the company, it stands as their quietest and most powerful air purifier to date.
While large air purifiers often have weak projection capability or project air upwards, Dyson’s Purifier Big+Quiet uses what the company calls ‘Cone Aerodynamics’, which is a new energy-efficient low-pressure air delivery system that can throw purified air up to 10 metres.
Dyson says the Purifier Big+Quiet can throw purified air at angles of zero degrees, 25 degrees and 50 degrees depending on one’s preferences. It comes with a dedicated ‘Breeze mode’, a software algorithm that controls the jet of air to mimic natural breeze patterns by oscillating in an up-and-down motion.
Featuring an LCD screen and compatibility with the MyDyson app, it also serves as a remote control for managing the device when you’re away from home.
The new product comes with a HEPA-H13 grade particle filter and sealed filtration system that can easily combat outdoor and indoor pollutants like tobacco smoke, and building materials, with the carbon filter dealing with NO2, which can enter the home from nearby traffic. It lasts up to 2 years and can capture around 99.95 per cent of pollutants, including dust and allergens as small as 0.1 microns in size.
To reduce the noise generated by large air purifiers, the company uses a ‘Broadband Helmhotlz’ silencer to trap sound energy and spread low-frequency noises. The end result is that the Dyson Purifier Big+Quiet is the most silent purifier it has ever made, emitting somewhere around 56 decibels of noise.
Dyson Purifier Big+Quiet can be purchased from Dyson Demo stores or the official website for Rs 68,900.
