The Honor Magic Vs 3 was officially launched in China on Friday, marking the debut of Honor’s newest book-style foldable smartphone. This latest addition to the foldable market is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and comes in three distinct color options. With its sleek design, the Honor Magic Vs 3 maintains a slim profile, measuring just 9.7mm in thickness when folded and up to 4.65mm when fully opened. This new model features a triple rear camera setup, including an advanced periscope sensor, and is supported by a substantial 5,000mAh battery. The device offers fast 66W wired charging and convenient 50W wireless charging capabilities.

The Honor Magic Vs 3 is priced starting at CNY 6,999 (approximately Rs. 80,000) for the base 12GB RAM and 256GB storage model. For users needing more storage, the 12GB RAM with 512GB storage variant is priced at CNY 7,699 (around Rs. 88,000), while the high-end 16GB RAM with 1TB storage model is available for CNY 8,699 (roughly Rs. 1,00,000). Currently, the smartphone can be purchased in China in three colors: Qilian Snow, Tundra Green, and Velvet Black.

In terms of specifications, the Honor Magic Vs 3 operates on Android 14 with MagicOS 8.0.1 layered on top. The device features a large 7.92-inch primary OLED display with a resolution of 2,344×2,156 pixels, and a 6.43-inch cover OLED display with a resolution of 1,060×2,376 pixels. Both displays boast a peak brightness of 2,500 nits and support inputs via Stylus. They are also equipped with LTPO technology for adaptive refresh rates of up to 120Hz and 3840Hz PWM dimming to reduce eye strain.
