Poco M6 Plus 5G Expected to Feature 108-Megapixel Primary Camera
Poco’s latest smartphone, the Poco M6 Plus 5G, is generating buzz ahead of its official launch in India, following the release of the Poco M6 5G in December with the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC. While Poco has yet to confirm the launch details for the M6 Plus 5G, leaks regarding its design, pricing, and specifications have already surfaced, giving potential buyers a glimpse of what to expect.
According to leaked information from Sudhanshu Ambhore (@Sudhanshu1414) in collaboration with 91Mobiles, the Poco M6 Plus 5G is expected to be a budget-friendly option equipped with the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor. This new model is anticipated to feature a dual-camera setup, highlighted by a 108-megapixel primary sensor, which promises high-resolution photography capabilities.
The leaked price details suggest that the Poco M6 Plus 5G will be available in India at Rs. 13,999 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. For those looking for more memory, the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model is reportedly priced at Rs. 14,999. Additionally, it is expected that Poco will offer a Rs. 1,000 discount on these prices through bank-based offers, providing some savings for early buyers.
In terms of design, the Poco M6 Plus 5G is rumored to resemble its predecessor, the Poco M6 5G, featuring a hole-punch display and flat edges. The rear of the device is anticipated to include an LED flash ring, complementing its camera setup. The phone is likely to be available in several color options, including black, purple, and silver, catering to a range of aesthetic preferences.
Overall, the Poco M6 Plus 5G is shaping up to be an appealing option for budget-conscious consumers looking for high-end features, such as a powerful camera and a robust processor, without breaking the bank. As the official launch date approaches, more details are expected to emerge, confirming these early leaks and giving a clearer picture of the device’s market position.
