Honor Watch 5 Ultra Debuts at MWC 2025 with ECG Tracking and Impressive Battery Life

Honor has officially launched the Honor Watch 5 Ultra at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025 in Barcelona, marking the latest addition to its expanding smartwatch lineup. Following the success of the Honor Watch 5 and Watch 4 Pro, the Watch 5 Ultra brings innovative features, including Electrocardiogram (ECG) tracking. The smartwatch also boasts an impressive battery life of up to 15 days with typical usage on a single charge, making it a standout in the market for long-lasting wearables.

While the pricing of the Honor Watch 5 Ultra has yet to be disclosed, it has been listed as “coming soon” on Honor’s global website. The smartwatch will be available in two elegant color options: black, paired with a fluoroelastomer strap, and brown, which comes with a leather strap. Honor has confirmed that the Watch 5 Ultra will be available for purchase in Europe in the near future, expanding its reach in the global market.

The Honor Watch 5 Ultra is equipped with a 1.5-inch LTPO AMOLED display, offering a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels and a refresh rate of up to 60Hz. Housed in a Grade 5 titanium alloy case, the smartwatch combines durability and style, featuring sapphire glass protection for added resistance against scratches. Users will be able to monitor their health with tools like Quick Health Scan, ECG tracking for instant readings, and a Healthy Morning Report that summarizes the previous day’s health data. Additionally, the smartwatch supports over 100 sports modes, sleep tracking, heart rate monitoring, and blood-oxygen tracking.

For outdoor enthusiasts, the Honor Watch 5 Ultra introduces a new Free Diving Mode, enabling users to dive up to 40 meters underwater. With an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, this smartwatch is built to withstand challenging conditions. It also features a robust 480mAh battery, ensuring long-lasting performance, and continues to push the boundaries of what smartwatches can do, with both fitness and durability at the forefront of its design.
