iQOO 15 Launch Timeline Leaked; Expected to Feature 2K Samsung AMOLED Display and Dedicated Gaming Chip
iQOO 15 is tipped to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset.
iQOO is reportedly preparing to launch its next flagship smartphone, the iQOO 15, as the successor to last year’s iQOO 13. Although the company has not officially revealed a launch date, new leaks from China suggest the handset could debut in October. The upcoming device is rumoured to feature a 2K Samsung AMOLED display, promising sharper visuals and an enhanced viewing experience.
Under the hood, the iQOO 15 is expected to run on Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset, making it one of the earliest devices to adopt the powerful processor. It is also said to include iQOO’s self-developed gaming chip, continuing the brand’s focus on mobile gaming performance.

The lineup may include not just the base model but also an iQOO 15 Pro or iQOO 15 Ultra variant. If true, this would give users more premium options to choose from, aligning with the company’s strategy in previous launches.
Interestingly, the leak also mentioned Realme’s plans for October, hinting that the rival brand could unveil its flagship series around the same time. The device in question is tipped to feature a 200-megapixel telephoto periscope sensor, with speculation pointing towards the Realme GT 8 and GT 8 Pro. This could make October a highly competitive month for flagship smartphone launches in China.
