High Performance Ahead: Itel P55 Series to Boast 16GB RAM with Virtual Memory and 256GB Storage

Itel is gearing up to unveil its latest offerings, the Itel P55 and Itel P55+, in the Indian market later this week. The Power-series smartphones, owned by Transsion Holdings, will be available for purchase exclusively on Amazon. With a dedicated microsite already live on the e-commerce platform, eager consumers can catch a glimpse of the design and specifications of these upcoming devices ahead of their official launch.

Among the highlighted features, the new lineup boasts a powerful 50-megapixel dual rear camera setup and generous onboard storage, offering users up to 256GB of space. Notably, both models are confirmed to support blazing-fast 45W fast charging technology.

The highly anticipated debut of the Itel P55 and Itel P55+ is scheduled for February 8, as revealed by the Chinese vendor through a dedicated landing page on Amazon. While specifics regarding the launch event timing and pricing details for the Indian market remain undisclosed, the teaser images on the e-commerce website showcase the smartphones’ stylish dual-tone finish. Available in sleek black and vibrant green color variants, both devices feature a modern hole-punch display design.

In addition to their impressive camera capabilities and ample storage, the Itel P55 series is poised to revolutionize charging experiences with its cutting-edge 45W fast charging support. According to Itel, this rapid charging technology can boost the battery level to 70 percent in just 30 minutes, ensuring minimal downtime for users.

 

 

Furthermore, the devices will offer three distinct charging modes, including hypercharge mode for swift replenishment, low temp charging mode to prevent overheating, and an AI-based smart charge mode for optimized charging efficiency.

As per the listing, Itel has equipped the Itel P55 and Itel P55+ with an AI-backed dual camera system, comprising a 50-megapixel main camera and an unspecified second camera. The smartphone will pack 16GB of RAM including virtual memory and 256GB of onboard storage.

The Itel P55 and Itel P55+ are expected to come as successors to the Itel P40 and Itel P40+, respectively. The Itel P40 was launched in March last year with a price tag of Rs. 7,699. The Itel P40+ was launched in July last year for Rs. 8,099.
