Leaked: OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12R Prices in India, Anticipated Color Variants Revealed before January 23 Unveiling

Confirmed for launch in India on January 23, the OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12R have created a buzz after their earlier release in China.

Expected to echo their Chinese counterparts, the OnePlus 12 is anticipated to maintain similarity while the OnePlus 12R, poised as the successor to the OnePlus 11R, is rumored to mirror the anticipated OnePlus Ace 3 due for a Chinese debut in early January. Shedding light on potential details, tipster Yogesh Brar (@heyitsyogesh) shared insights on the color variants and pricing of these upcoming OnePlus models for the Indian market.

Brar, in a recent post on X, hinted that the Indian version of the OnePlus 12 might flaunt sleek Black and vibrant Green hues. His revelation extended to configurations reaching up to 16GB RAM coupled with a spacious 512GB onboard storage. As per his sources, the price tag for this model is estimated to fall within the range of Rs. 58,000 to Rs. 60,000.

Continuing the unveiling, Brar highlighted the OnePlus 12R’s anticipated arrival in India, boasting shades of Blue and Black. Expected to share akin RAM and storage options as its flagship counterpart, this alternative model might hit the Indian market with a price range estimated between Rs. 40,000 and Rs. 42,000, as suggested by the tipster. These insights offer an enticing peek into the anticipated offerings poised to make their mark in the Indian smartphone landscape.

 

 

The OnePlus 12R is anticipated to come equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and is rumored to run on Android 14-based OxygenOS 14. Sporting a 6.78-inch LTPO 4.0 ProXDR display capable of reaching a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, the phone is expected to be shielded by Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for added durability. Its triple rear camera setup might comprise a 50-megapixel IMX890 primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter, while boasting a 16-megapixel front camera sensor. Powering the device could be a robust 5,500mAh battery supported by 100W wired fast charging.

Contrastingly, in China, the OnePlus 12 made its debut featuring a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and ran on Android 14-based ColorOS 14. Displaying a larger 6.82-inch quad-HD+ LTPO OLED screen with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and a remarkable peak brightness of 4,500 nits, this model promised exceptional visual performance. Its Hasselblad-tuned camera system included a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-808 primary sensor with OIS, a 64-megapixel telephoto camera with OIS and 3x optical zoom, and a 48-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. On the front, a 32-megapixel sensor handled selfies. The device housed a slightly smaller 5,400mAh battery but offered versatile charging capabilities including 100W SuperVOOC, 50W wireless, and 10W reverse wireless charging. These contrasting specifications between the OnePlus 12R and its Chinese counterpart showcased a blend of distinct features catering to diverse preferences in the smartphone landscape.
