Motorola has officially confirmed that the Edge 70 Max will make its debut in India next week. Ahead of the launch, the company has started revealing key details about the smartphone through a dedicated Flipkart microsite, offering an early look at its design and several of its core specifications. The upcoming handset is set to expand Motorola’s Edge 70 lineup in the Indian market.
According to the Flipkart listing, the Motorola Edge 70 Max will launch in India on July 15 at 12pm IST and will be available for purchase through the e-commerce platform after its official unveiling. Promotional images showcase the smartphone with a flat display, ultra-slim bezels, and a square-shaped rear camera module. Motorola has also confirmed that the handset will be offered in light blue and green colour options.
Under the hood, the Edge 70 Max will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor. Motorola claims the chipset delivers up to a 46 percent improvement in AI NPU performance, while the device is also said to achieve an AnTuTu benchmark score exceeding 3 million. The smartphone will further support up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and feature on-device AI capabilities for enhanced performance and smarter user experiences.
Motorola has also highlighted the phone’s focus on performance, display quality, battery life, and fast charging in its latest teasers. However, the company is yet to disclose complete hardware specifications, including camera details, pricing, and sale offers. These are expected to be announced during the official launch event on July 15.
