Although the successor is still months away from its expected launch, early leaks about the OnePlus 16 have already begun circulating online, hinting at some major upgrades.

One of the most talked-about rumours suggests that the upcoming OnePlus 16 could pack a massive 9,000mAh battery, potentially setting a new benchmark for flagship endurance. Now, fresh information from a tipster indicates that the device may also deliver a significant design refinement. According to a post on Weibo by tipster Old Chen Air, the OnePlus 16 is expected to feature ultra-thin bezels measuring under 1mm, which would mark a notable improvement over the 1.15mm bezels found on the OnePlus 15’s 6.78-inch QHD+ AMOLED display.

If the claim proves accurate, the OnePlus 16 could become the only flagship smartphone this year to offer bezels thinner than 1mm. Such a move would enhance the phone’s screen-to-body ratio, delivering a more immersive viewing experience and a sleeker overall aesthetic.
