OnePlus Nord CE 4: Company Confirms Storage Option of Up to 256GB

As the countdown to its India debut accelerates, OnePlus Nord CE 4 is generating significant buzz in anticipation of its forthcoming launch. Scheduled to make its grand entrance into the Indian market on April 1, the smartphone has already piqued the curiosity of enthusiasts with glimpses of its design and key specifications.

Serving as the successor to the OnePlus Nord CE 3, the Nord CE 4 is set to redefine the benchmarks of performance and innovation, powered by the formidable Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset. Additionally, the device is poised to offer consumers a diverse palette of aesthetic options, teased to be available in at least two distinct colour variants.

In a recent announcement via its official Twitter account, OnePlus India offered eager fans a tantalizing glimpse into the RAM and storage configurations of the Nord CE 4. The tweet unveiled that the smartphone will be equipped with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, complemented by the option to virtually expand the RAM by an additional 8GB, facilitating seamless multitasking and fluid user experience.

Furthermore, the post confirmed that the OnePlus Nord CE 4 will boast an impressive inbuilt storage capacity of up to 256GB, courtesy of the blazing-fast UFS 3.1 storage technology. However, speculation abounds regarding the possibility of additional storage variants, with rumors hinting at the potential availability of a 128GB variant to cater to diverse consumer preferences. Notably, the post also alluded to the device’s expandable storage capabilities, with support for microSD card expansion of up to a staggering 1TB, ensuring ample storage space for users to capture and store their cherished memories and multimedia content.

The Chinese brand earlier revealed that the smartphone will be introduced in India on April 1. It also teased the design and some key specifications. The successor of the OnePlus Nord CE 3 is confirmed to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset. It is also teased to arrive in at least two different colour options.

In a post on X (formerly known as Twitter), the official account of OnePlus India revealed the RAM and storage specifications of the Nord CE 4. It said, “Collect games, memes, memories and everything in between with up to 1TB of storage and share them across multiple platforms at the same time with quick app switching on the #OnePlusNordCE4.” The smartphone will feature 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM which can be virtually expanded by another 8GB.

Inbuilt storage on the OnePlus Nord CE 4 is confirmed to be up to 256GB of UFS 3.1. However, this is unlikely to be the base variant as rumours have suggested that the smartphone may also get a 128GB storage variant. The post revealed that the storage can be expanded up to 1TB via a microSD card slot.
