Poco C65 India Variant Poised for Debut with Global Specifications in Tow
Following its global launch in November, the Poco C65 is now gearing up for its India debut. The global variant of this smartphone features a MediaTek Helio G85 SoC, coupled with a robust 5,000mAh battery supporting 18W wired fast charging through a micro USB port. Equipped with a 50-megapixel dual rear camera setup and a 6.74-inch HD+ display, the Poco C65 aims to build on the success of its predecessor, the Poco C55, which was introduced in February earlier this year.
Poco India has officially announced that the Poco C65 will hit the Indian market on December 15. The announcement, shared on X, confirmed that the smartphone will be exclusively available for purchase through Flipkart. The accompanying poster provides a sneak peek of the device in an eye-catching purple color option, hinting at a visually appealing design that mirrors the global variant.
Globally, the Poco C65 comes with a starting price of $129 (approximately Rs. 10,700) for the 6GB + 128GB variant, while the 8GB + 256GB variant is priced at $149 (approximately Rs. 12,400). The phone is offered in Black, Blue, and Purple color options.
The global variant of the Poco C65 boasts a 6.74-inch HD+ display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. It houses a MediaTek Helio G85 SoC, complemented by an ARM Mali-G52 2EEMC2 GPU. With configurations of up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of eMMC 5.1 inbuilt storage, expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card, the Poco C65 provides ample power and storage capacity. Operating on Android 13-based MIUI 14 for Poco, the smartphone promises a seamless and feature-rich user experience.
In the camera department, the Poco C65 gets a 50-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and a 2-megapixel sensor with an f/2.4 aperture macro lens at the back. The front camera of the global variant of the handset is equipped with an 8-megapixel sensor with f/2.0 aperture, placed in a centre-aligned waterdrop notch at the top of the display.
Poco C65 comes with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W wired fast charging via a micro USB port. For security, the phone gets a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. It offers 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and GLONASS connectivity.
