Poco has expanded its affordable C-series lineup in India with the launch of the Poco C65 on Friday, joining the ranks of budget-friendly smartphones. This new entrant shares some common features with the recently unveiled Redmi 13C, offering users a compelling set of specifications at an accessible price point. At the core of its imaging capabilities is a 50-megapixel rear camera, supplemented by a 2-megapixel macro camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera, catering to the needs of photography enthusiasts and selfie lovers alike.

Under the hood, the Poco C65 is powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 chipset, ensuring smooth performance for day-to-day tasks and moderate gaming. The device is available in three configurations, offering users the flexibility to choose between 4GB + 128GB, 6GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 256GB options, catering to varying storage needs. Poco has emphasized the longevity of the device’s software support, committing to two years of Android OS and security updates, with an additional third year of security updates.

In terms of pricing, the Poco C65 comes with a competitive price tag. The 4GB + 128GB variant is priced at Rs. 8,499, the 6GB + 128GB configuration is available at Rs. 9,499, and the top-end 8GB + 256GB variant can be purchased for Rs. 10,999. To sweeten the deal for potential buyers, the phone is offered in two attractive color options – Matte Black and Pastel Blue. The dual-SIM (Nano) Poco C65 runs on Android 13 with MIUI 14 for Poco out-of-the-box. It features a 6.74-inch HD+ (720 x 1,600 pixels) LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate. The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 SoC, along with up to 8GB of RAM.

For photos and videos, the Poco C65 has a triple rear camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture, as well as a 2-megapixel macro camera with an f/2.4 aperture.
