Poco X6 Pro Teases Camera and Display Details Before January 11 Launch

Poco X6 Pro: MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Ultra SoC Confirmed for Powering

Scheduled for a global and India launch on January 11, the Poco X6 series follows its predecessors, the Poco X5 and X5 Pro, released in February 2023. This forthcoming lineup introduces the base Poco X6 alongside the higher-end Poco X6 Pro. Speculation surrounding the X6 Pro hints at it being a rebadged version of China’s Redmi K70E, unveiled in November 2023.

Prior leaks unveiled design cues and key specifications for the Pro model. Recently, Poco teased specific details about the handset’s camera and display, highlighting a 64-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) and an anticipated 2x lossless in-sensor zoom for its triple rear camera setup.”

In another X post, the company announced that the Poco X6 Pro will feature a 1.5K AMOLED panel with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz.

 

 

Anticipated reports suggest that the Poco X6 Pro might feature a substantial 6.67-inch display and is expected to house a robust 5,000mAh battery, supporting rapid 67W wired charging. Speculations indicate that the top-tier variant, offering 12GB RAM and 512GB storage, could be priced at approximately AED 1,299 (approximately Rs. 29,500). Allegedly, the handset will be available in black, grey, and yellow color variants.

In an intriguing move, the Poco X6 Pro made a surprise appearance on an episode of the popular Indian reality TV show, Bigg Boss, showcasing its yellow variant flaunting a vegan leather finish.

Moreover, Poco has officially confirmed that the Poco X6 Pro will debut with a MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Ultra SoC and run Xiaomi’s new HyperOS straight out of the box. The device is slated to hit the market through Flipkart.
