Poco X6 Pro to Debut Featuring Xiaomi’s Latest HyperOS; Leaked AnTuTu Score Unveiled

Poco X6 Pro Likely to Resemble Redmi K70E Launched in November 2023

Set to be unveiled in India on January 11 alongside the base Poco X6, the Poco X6 Pro is anticipated to launch globally on the same day. Positioned as a successor to the Poco X5 Pro, rumors strongly suggest that the Poco X6 Pro might just be a rebranded version of the Redmi K70E, unveiled in China back in November 2023. Prior leaks and reports have already hinted at design elements and core specifications of this high-end addition to the Poco X6 series. To add to the anticipation, the company has recently disclosed key details regarding the handset’s operating system and its AnTuTu performance.

In a recent X post by Poco India, it was revealed that the upcoming Poco X6 Pro will operate on Xiaomi’s latest HyperOS, initially introduced with the Xiaomi 14 series in China. The post also confirmed the model’s availability through Flipkart in India.

Another post highlighted that the Poco X6 Pro achieved an AnTuTu score surpassing 1.4 million, positioning it as a potential leader in its segment and capable of rivaling numerous flagship smartphones. A teaser from Poco Global further emphasized the device as a “super speedy quasi-flagship,” offering a sneak peek at its rear camera module resembling that of the Redmi K70E. The camera setup features three circular camera units alongside a circular LED flash unit, housed within a rectangular module at the top left corner of the rear panel.

The Poco X6 Pro is expected to come equipped with WildBoost Optimisation 2.0, enhancing the gaming experience for users. Additionally, it is slated to include a substantial stainless steel 5,000mm2 vapour chamber, promising enhanced cooling capabilities for prolonged usage.

An earlier leak indicated that the Poco X6 Pro is likely to showcase a 6.67-inch 1.5K LTPS display, boasting a swift refresh rate of 120Hz. Confirmed reports highlight the device will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Ultra chipset. The anticipated pricing for the 12GB + 512GB variant is speculated to hover around AED 1,299 (approximately Rs. 29,500). Revealed design renders suggest the phone might be available in color variants such as black, grey, and yellow.

As for the camera setup, leaks suggest the Poco X6 Pro might incorporate a triple rear camera configuration. This array could consist of a powerful 67-megapixel primary sensor, complemented by optical image stabilization (OIS) support, an 8-megapixel sensor catering to ultrawide captures, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter. Additionally, the device is rumored to house a robust 5,000mAh battery, supported by 67W wired fast charging capabilities.
