Poco Unveils Poco F6 5G, Poco F6 Pro, and Poco Pad on Thursday

Poco India made headlines on Thursday (May 23) with the launch of the Poco F6 5G, marking its debut as the first handset in India powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC. The live-streamed event not only introduced this groundbreaking smartphone but also teased the imminent arrival of new Poco products set to enrich the brand’s ecosystem in the country. Among the upcoming releases, Poco announced plans to unveil a new audio device, a tablet, and a power bank, expanding its portfolio beyond smartphones. Currently, Poco offers a diverse range of smartphones under its X series, M series, F series, and C series, along with the popular Poco Pods TWS (True Wireless) earphones.

At the launch event for the Poco F6 5G, Himanshu Tandon, Head of Poco India, and Varun Nair, Brand Marketing Head-AI, unveiled the brand’s strategic initiatives to introduce new Poco buds, a tablet, and a power bank to the Indian market. Although specific details such as product names and launch timelines were not disclosed, these announcements underscore Poco’s commitment to enhancing its ecosystem and catering to diverse consumer needs in India.

Simultaneously, Poco unveiled the Poco F6 Pro and its first-ever tablet, the Poco Pad, in select global markets on the same day. The Poco F6 5G entered the Indian market with an introductory price starting at Rs. 29,999, positioning it competitively within the premium smartphone segment. The brand is anticipated to introduce the Poco Pad in India soon, featuring the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset, a robust 10,000mAh battery, and a stunning 12.1-inch 120Hz 2.5K display.

The introduction of the Poco Pad signifies Poco’s foray into the tablet market, aiming to replicate its success in the smartphone arena with innovative features and competitive pricing.
