Realme has officially rolled out early access to its latest operating system, Realme UI 6.0, for the Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro+ models in India. Following the debut of the OS alongside the Realme GT 7 Pro, this move allows users to experience the new features before the stable release. Built on Android 15, Realme UI 6.0 brings a host of visual and functional upgrades, including revamped icon designs, innovative flux themes, and globally reversible photo editing. Additionally, the update focuses on enhanced AI-powered tools for productivity and photo editing, further enriching the user experience.
The early access program enables Realme 12 Pro series users to test out the new features by enrolling through their device settings. According to Realme’s community page, users need a minimum of 60% battery life and 15GB of free storage to install the update. Registration can be done through the Software Update Application channel, with the steps outlined as: navigating to Settings > About device > Realme UI 5.0 banner > Beta program > Early Access, and submitting the required details.
Among the standout features of Realme UI 6.0 are its visual improvements, which include fluid animations and flux themes. These themes are customizable using personal photos or system wallpapers, offering a more dynamic and interactive aesthetic. The home and lock screens can also be tailored with unique elements like glass textures, blurred wallpapers, AI-driven depth effects, and auto-fill capabilities. Users can toggle between classic and flux modes on the lock screen for added personalization, ensuring a modern yet user-friendly interface.
This update demonstrates Realme’s commitment to enhancing user engagement through cutting-edge technology. By focusing on aesthetics and functionality, Realme UI 6.0 aims to redefine smartphone usability. The early access program not only gives users a sneak peek into these advancements but also allows Realme to gather valuable feedback for refining the OS further before its stable release. As the rollout continues, Realme is solidifying its position as a brand dedicated to innovation and user satisfaction.
