Samsung Galaxy A57 5G Spotted on BIS Listing, India Launch Expected Soon
Galaxy A57 5G is said to be powered by Samsung’s in-house Exynos 1680 processor
Samsung’s mid-range lineup in India could soon see a new addition, as the Galaxy A57 5G has surfaced on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website. The listing suggests that Samsung is preparing the device for sale in the country, bringing it one step closer to an official launch. The handset is expected to succeed the Galaxy A56 and continue the brand’s focus on balanced performance and features in the A-series.
According to the certification details, a Samsung smartphone carrying the model number SM-A576B/DS received BIS approval on December 31, 2025. The “DS” tag indicates dual-SIM support, which is typical for Samsung’s India-bound smartphones. While the BIS database does not explicitly mention the commercial name, the model number aligns with Samsung’s naming convention for the Galaxy A57 5G.
BIS certification is usually among the final regulatory steps before a product is introduced in India. As a result, the Galaxy A57 5G could be officially announced within the next few months. Some reports suggest a launch window in early 2026, possibly around February, which would place it well ahead of the mid-year release cycle.
In addition to the Galaxy A57 5G, Samsung is also rumoured to be working on other A-series models, including a Galaxy A37 variant. These devices are expected to bring incremental upgrades in areas such as camera performance, display quality, and overall efficiency, reinforcing Samsung’s presence in the competitive mid-range smartphone segment.
