Tipster PhoneArt (@UniverseIce) recently revealed that the Galaxy S26 Ultra will continue to use the 200-megapixel ISOCELL HP2 primary sensor, as seen on the Galaxy S25 Ultra. The major change, however, is expected in the aperture size, which could increase from f/1.7 to f/1.4. This wider aperture would allow more light to enter the lens, directly improving performance in low-light environments.
With this adjustment, the Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to produce brighter and clearer photos even in challenging lighting conditions, with less noise and more visible detail.
