Seamless Integration: Nothing Phone 2 and Phone 1 Users Gain Access to ChatGPT Voice Shortcut Directly from Home Screen

Revolutionizing User Experience: Nothing Phone Smartphones Introduce Hands-Free AI Assistance with ChatGPT

OpenAI’s AI chatbot, ChatGPT, made its debut on Android and iOS platforms last year, ushering in a new era of conversational AI. Now, users of Nothing Phone 1 and Phone 2 can elevate their smartphone experience with hands-free AI assistance, thanks to ChatGPT. The latest enhancement allows Nothing Phone users to conveniently access ChatGPT’s voice commands directly from their home screen and Quick Setting panel through a newly introduced shortcut. This feature adds a layer of accessibility, resembling the functionality of well-known voice assistants like Google Assistant and Apple’s Siri.

Nothing CEO Carl Pei shared the exciting news via a video post on X (formerly known as Twitter), announcing the integration of ChatGPT’s Quick Settings shortcut into Nothing Phone 1 and Phone 2. With this update, users can seamlessly tap into the capabilities of ChatGPT’s voice assistant, enhancing the overall user experience on Nothing handsets.

To activate this feature, Nothing OS users need to install the official ChatGPT Android app from the Google Play Store and utilize the voice chat feature at least once within the app to complete the setup process.

Subsequently, users can add the ChatGPT shortcut to both the Quick Settings panel and Quick Settings widget. Once set up, tapping on the shortcut icon swiftly activates the ChatGPT-powered voice assistant, providing users with a hands-free and efficient AI interaction on their Nothing Phone devices.

With the latest development, ChatGPT will function like an assistant on Android devices like Google’s Assistant and Apple’s Siri.
