Honor Unveils Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC and 8,000mAh Battery: Price and Specifications Revealed

Honor recently unveiled its latest smartphone, the Honor Power, in China, offering impressive features designed to cater to tech enthusiasts. The standout feature of the device is its large 8,000mAh battery, which supports 66W wired charging, ensuring long-lasting performance. The Honor Power is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, offering robust processing power, and is available in multiple configurations, with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. This smartphone is not just about performance; it also features a dual rear camera setup led by a 50-megapixel primary lens, promising excellent photography capabilities.

In terms of pricing, the Honor Power starts at CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs. 23,000) for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model. The higher-end variants, with 12GB RAM, are priced at CNY 2,199 (Rs. 25,000) for the 256GB storage version and CNY 2,499 (Rs. 30,000) for the 512GB model. Buyers can choose from a range of attractive color options, including Desert Gold, Phantom Night Black, and Snow White. The device is currently available for purchase in China, where it has already garnered attention due to its impressive specifications and pricing.

The Honor Power runs on MagicOS 9.0, based on Android 15, and boasts a large 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution (1,224 x 2,700 pixels) and a 120Hz refresh rate. The display also supports HDR and features the Oasis eye protection gaming screen, which reduces strain with 3840Hz PWM dimming and a peak brightness of 4,000 nits. Under the hood, it is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC, coupled with an Adreno 720 GPU, making it suitable for demanding applications and gaming experiences. The dual-camera system includes a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 5-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, complemented by a 16-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies.
