Ahead of an official announcement, alleged CAD-based renders of the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra and Galaxy Tab S12+ have surfaced online. The leaked images provide an early look at the design of both tablets and show them in two different colour options.

The Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra appears to feature a flat rear panel with a dual-camera setup positioned in the upper-right corner, accompanied by an LED flash. The overall design follows Samsung’s familiar premium tablet styling with a clean and minimal rear layout.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy Tab S12+ is shown with a single rear camera instead of the dual-camera arrangement seen on the Ultra model. Apart from the difference in camera hardware, both tablets appear to maintain a similarly slim and understated design.

Previous reports have also suggested that the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra could be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 9000-series chipset. More details regarding the tablets’ displays, batteries, performance hardware and launch timeline are expected to surface as Samsung moves closer to officially unveiling the Galaxy Tab S12 lineup.

Samsung’s next-generation Galaxy Tab S12 series is expected to arrive later this year, and a fresh leak has provided an early glimpse of what could be the flagship model in the lineup. The Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra has reportedly surfaced in leaked CAD renders, revealing a design that closely resembles its predecessor. While Samsung has yet to officially confirm the tablet’s existence, the images offer insight into the company’s approach for its upcoming premium Android tablet.

According to the leaked renders, the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra retains the familiar design language introduced with previous Ultra-branded tablets. The front of the device appears largely unchanged, featuring slim bezels and a small notch positioned at the top of the display. This notch is expected to house the front-facing camera system, maintaining a layout that has become a signature element of Samsung’s high-end tablet range.

The rear panel also follows a familiar aesthetic, with a dual-camera setup arranged vertically and accompanied by an LED flash. Individual camera rings surround each sensor, matching Samsung’s recent design philosophy across several Galaxy devices. Beyond the design, early reports suggest the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra could feature a large 14-inch AMOLED display, continuing Samsung’s emphasis on premium multimedia and productivity experiences. The tablet is also expected to support accessory connectivity through a three-pin pogo connector, enabling compatibility with keyboards and other add-ons. While additional specifications remain under wraps, the latest leak indicates Samsung may prioritize refining an already established formula rather than introducing a dramatic redesign with the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra.
