Yieldstreet reports that some of its customers were impacted by the Evolve Bank data breach
The alternative investment platform Yieldstreet has disclosed that its customers were impacted by the recent data breach at Evolve Bank and Trust.
On Tuesday, Yieldstreet spokesperson Clare Burrows confirmed that “some Yieldstreet customer information may have been affected” due to the Evolve breach.
“We have notified all potentially affected customers and are following best practices regarding third-party cybersecurity incidents,” Burrows stated in an email.
Burrows did not specify the type of customer information stolen or the exact number of affected customers.
Last week, Evolve, a popular financial institution for fintech startups, announced that a cyberattack compromised “the data and personal information of some Evolve retail bank customers and financial technology partners’ customers.”
As of now, the following companies have confirmed that their customers were impacted by the Evolve breach: Affirm, Branch, EarnIn, Marqeta, Melio, Mercury, Yieldstreet, and Wise.
