Next Generation Samsung Galaxy Fold and Flip Models Expected to Retain 25W Charging, Following Predecessors’ Footsteps

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Spotted on China’s 3C Website: Model Number SM-F9560 Revealed

Anticipation builds as leaks and rumors swirl around the imminent unveiling of Samsung’s next-generation foldable phones, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6, slated for the latter half of this year. These devices, poised to redefine smartphone innovation, have already become the subject of much speculation online, with recent leaks shedding light on their charging capabilities.

Recent reports indicate that both the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 have purportedly secured certification from China’s Compulsory Certification (3C) website. This certification not only hints at the impending release but also offers insights into the charging capabilities of the upcoming devices. Interestingly, the listing suggests that the charging speed of the new models will remain consistent with their predecessors, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5.

The 3C listing, brought to light by Myfixguide, reveals the model numbers of the devices as “SM-F9560” for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and “SM-F4710” for the Galaxy Z Flip 6. More notably, it discloses that both smartphones will come bundled with the Samsung EP-TA800 charger, indicating support for 25W wired charging, a feature akin to their predecessors. Additionally, the listing confirms that the upcoming models will support 5G connectivity, aligning with the trend of faster network speeds and enhanced connectivity.

While specific details about the battery capacities of the new devices are yet to be officially confirmed, rumors suggest that the Galaxy Z Flip 6 could house a 4,000mAh battery. Comparatively, last year’s Galaxy Z Fold 5 boasted a 4,400mAh battery, while the Galaxy Z Flip 5 featured a 3,700mAh battery. Samsung’s consistent use of similar charging technology across its flagship devices, including the Galaxy S series phones, underscores its commitment to delivering reliable and efficient charging solutions to users. As anticipation continues to mount, enthusiasts eagerly await further revelations about these highly anticipated foldable smartphones.
