Tata Motors has unveiled the Tata Curvv EV in India, marking a significant entry into the SUV coupe segment. This electric vehicle (EV) is not only a strategic move for Tata Motors but also a notable addition to the growing electric mobility landscape in the country. The Curvv EV combines advanced features, robust performance, and sleek design, positioning itself as a strong competitor in its segment.

Tata Curvv EV Features

The Tata Curvv EV is equipped with Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), which include 20 distinct features designed to enhance driving safety and convenience. These features encompass adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and automated emergency braking, among others. Additionally, the vehicle includes pedestrian safety sound alerts, which help in notifying pedestrians of the vehicle’s presence, addressing a common concern with electric vehicles that operate quietly.

The EV offers two battery pack options: a 45kWh battery and a larger 65kWh battery, both supporting fast charging. The 45kWh pack provides a claimed range of 450 km, while the 65kWh pack extends the range to 585 km on a single charge, catering to different driving needs and preferences. The Curvv EV also integrates Tata Motors’ iRA app for connected car features, allowing users to remotely monitor and control various aspects of the vehicle.

The SUV coupe segment is gaining traction, with other models like the Citroen Basalt expected to debut soon. Tata Motors’ entry into this segment with the Curvv EV is expected to attract both eco-conscious consumers and those looking for a stylish and feature-rich electric vehicle.

The vehicle will be available for purchase starting from the announced introductory prices, which are subject to change.
