Xbox Game Pass August Releases
Creatures of Ava stands out as a day-one launch, arriving on August 7. Developed by Inverge Studios, this action-adventure title places players in the shoes of an explorer named Vic. Set on the vibrant and mysterious planet Ava, the game challenges players to navigate through four distinct biomes, each brimming with unique flora and fauna. As Vic, players will have the opportunity to tame over 20 wild creatures and unravel the planet’s secrets while combating a menacing infection threatening Ava’s ecosystem.
Following closely, Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy will make its debut on Game Pass on August 8. This beloved collection revitalizes the classic Crash Bandicoot games with modern graphics and enhanced gameplay. The trilogy features remastered versions of the original three games—Crash Bandicoot, Cortex Strikes Back, and Warped—offering both nostalgic charm and updated mechanics for both new players and long-time fans.
The final major addition for the month is Mafia: Definitive Edition, scheduled for August 13. This game is a complete remake of the 2002 classic Mafia, bringing updated visuals, refined gameplay, and a reimagined story to a new generation of gamers. Set in the 1930s, the game follows the rise of Tommy Angelo in the criminal underworld of Lost Heaven, delivering an immersive narrative and a richly detailed open-world environment.
In addition to these high-profile titles, Game Pass subscribers can look forward to exploring a variety of other games throughout the month. Microsoft continues to expand its service with a broad selection of games across genres, ensuring there’s something for everyone.
The August lineup not only includes these exciting new additions but also reinforces Xbox Game Pass’s commitment to providing a diverse gaming experience. Whether you’re eager to dive into an action-packed adventure, relive classic platforming moments, or immerse yourself in a gripping crime saga, this month’s offerings promise to deliver a compelling array of gaming experiences.
