iPhone 16 Plus Battery Capacity Reportedly Lower Than iPhone 15 Plus
Apple’s highly anticipated iPhone 16 series is on the horizon, and as the launch date approaches, leaks have started to reveal key details about the new lineup. This series will include four models: the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max. While Apple remains tight-lipped about specifics until the official announcement, recent leaks have provided a glimpse into the expected features and pricing of these devices.
One significant piece of information emerging from these leaks is that all four iPhone 16 models will come equipped with Apple Intelligence features. This includes advancements in AI and machine learning capabilities, designed to enhance user experience through smarter functionalities and improved performance. These features are expected to integrate seamlessly with Apple’s ecosystem, offering users a more cohesive and intuitive interaction with their devices.
In terms of pricing, the iPhone 16 series will offer various options to cater to different budgets. According to details shared by Apple Hub on X (formerly Twitter), the base model of the iPhone 16 will start at $799, which translates to approximately Rs. 67,100. This entry-level model will come with 128GB of internal storage, offering a good balance of capacity and affordability. The iPhone 16 Plus, which offers a larger screen and potentially enhanced features, is expected to be priced at $899, roughly Rs. 75,500.
For users seeking more advanced features, the iPhone 16 Pro will be available starting at $1,099 (around Rs. 92,300) for the 256GB variant. This model will include the Pro-exclusive enhancements and is expected to offer superior performance compared to the standard iPhone 16 models. The iPhone 16 Pro Max, which is anticipated to be the flagship model, will come with a starting price of $1,199 (about Rs. 1,00,700) for the same 256GB storage configuration.
Storage options across the lineup will vary, with the standard iPhone 16 models available in 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB configurations. The Pro models, on the other hand, will offer 512GB and 1TB storage variants, catering to users who require more extensive storage for their media and applications.
Another notable detail from the leaks is the reported change in battery capacity for the iPhone 16 Plus. It is suggested that this model will feature a considerably smaller battery compared to its predecessor, the iPhone 15 Plus. This reduction might be due to design changes or advancements in battery efficiency, but it could impact the device’s overall endurance and performance.
As the official launch approaches, more details will likely emerge, but these initial leaks provide a comprehensive look at what to expect from the iPhone 16 series. With significant advancements in AI features and a range of pricing options, Apple is poised to offer a compelling lineup of smartphones designed to cater to diverse user needs and preferences.
