MG Motor India has announced a new price revision for the ZS EV, increasing the cost of select variants by up to Rs. 32,000. This revised pricing is effective immediately, impacting higher-end options within the ZS EV lineup. Specifically, the price adjustments affect the Essence Dark Grey, 100-Year Edition, and Essence Dual-Tone Iconic Ivory variants. Notably, the company has chosen to keep the prices of the entry-level models, including the Executive and Excite Pro variants, unchanged, making them more appealing to budget-conscious buyers.
MG ZS EV Price in India Increased
The most significant price hike is seen in the Essence Dark Grey variant, with a jump of Rs. 32,000. Close behind, the 100-Year Edition and the Essence Dual-Tone Iconic Ivory variants each saw an increase of Rs. 31,000. These adjustments reflect MG Motor’s ongoing strategy to manage production and supply chain costs, especially as demand for electric vehicles continues to grow in the Indian market.
Changes for Exclusive Plus Variants
The price revision doesn’t stop with the Essence variants. The Exclusive Plus models also experienced noticeable adjustments. The Exclusive Plus Dark Grey variant now costs Rs. 30,200 more, while the Exclusive Plus Dual-Tone Iconic Ivory version has seen a Rs. 30,000 increase. These changes may influence buying decisions for those considering the premium features offered in the higher-tier models. Despite the upward shift in prices, MG Motor’s offerings continue to boast competitive features in the electric vehicle sector.
Entry-Level Models Unaffected
One positive aspect of the announcement is that the entry-level Executive and Excite Pro variants remain unaffected by the price hike.
