OnePlus Ace 5 Set to Launch with Impressive 6,415mAh Battery and 6.78-Inch Display
The OnePlus Ace 5 and its Pro variant are set to make their debut in China on December 12, and ahead of the official launch, several key details about the standard model have surfaced. According to leaks, the OnePlus Ace 5 will come with a substantial 6,415mAh battery, marking a significant upgrade over its predecessor, the OnePlus Ace 3, which had a smaller battery. This increase in battery capacity promises enhanced performance and longer usage times, making the OnePlus Ace 5 a strong contender in the competitive smartphone market. Additionally, the device is expected to feature a 1.5K resolution display, similar to the Ace 3, ensuring sharp visuals and vibrant colors.
Specifications Leaked Ahead of Launch
Tipster Digital Chat Station recently revealed the leaked specifications of the OnePlus Ace 5 through a Weibo post. The device will sport a large 6.78-inch BOE X2 8T LTPO display, boasting a 1.5K resolution. This display is expected to offer improved brightness and color accuracy, similar to the high-end display seen in the OnePlus 13. Just like the OnePlus Ace 3, the Ace 5 will likely support an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz, providing smoother scrolling and enhanced gaming experiences.
Enhanced Battery and Charging Features
One of the standout features of the OnePlus Ace 5 will be its 6,415mAh battery, which will support 80W fast charging. While the OnePlus Ace 3 came with a 5,500mAh battery and supported 100W SuperVOOC fast charging, the larger battery in the Ace 5 should allow for longer usage times, even with slightly lower charging speeds. The combination of a large battery and fast charging will likely appeal to users who prioritize battery life and convenience.
Design and Additional Features
The OnePlus Ace 5 is expected to feature a sleek and premium design, with a metal middle frame, crystal shield glass, and a ceramic body. This design will not only offer durability but also contribute to a high-end aesthetic. Additionally, the phone is tipped to include the iconic three-stage alert slider, a signature feature of OnePlus devices, providing users with easy control over notifications. With its mix of powerful specifications, large battery, and refined design, the OnePlus Ace 5 looks set to be a highly anticipated release.
